WOODS BROWN
USC BIOLOGY


Woods is a graduate of the Universtity's Biology Department. His main interests involve the study of the animal behavior and ecology of carnivores. He has spent some time in Kenya and is particularly interested in the big cats. While in Africa he did field studies on the spotted hyena (Crocuta crocuta). North American carnivores of interest include wolves as well as Primitive Dogs and (what he is studying now) the american alligator.
